General Aspects
In Chile the Neoliberal System is enforced in regards to economics, which is why there is freedom of pricing. Product prices are found to be in constant change, according to the swing of offer and demand and in accordance with the country's commercial trade agreements.
For this reason, the cost of Residential Water and Electricity Services are regulated by the corresponding Pricing Laws. Determined by the respective superintendent's technical calculations.
For other prices such as tickets for Public Transportation on tendered routes, the final cost is calculated according to a formula used monthly which considers gas, the variety of laborers , tires and the cost of replacing buses.
