Las Araucarias offers its visitors one chair and three drag lifts, as well as lodging at Apart Llaima, Los Paragüas Refuge (second floor of the cafeteria), El Pehuén Refuge, or Las Araucarias Building. Furthermore, it also boasts a ski school, equipment rental service, a cafeteria, and a restaurant.

How to get there
Leave Temuco heading North through Panamerican Highway, up to Cajón, 9km. away from the city. Take the paved road towards Llaima Volcano up to Vilcún, and then to Cherquenco, from where you'll start ascending to the ski center.

Ski School
Las Araucarias Ski School offers individual and group lessons in tracks and lifts especially adapted for this purpose.

Trails and Lifts

 Las Araucarias has a skiable area of 350 hectares, with tracks for all levels of skiers: novice (green), intermediate (blue), and advanced (red and black). The minimum height is 1.550 meters above sea level, and the maximum is 1.950.

In las Araucarias you can rent complete equipment, or accessories both for skiing and snowboarding. In the store you can also purchase equipment, clothing, souvenirs, and a whole Las Araucarias clothing and accessories line.
