logo corralcoMontaña Corralco Mountain Center is located 50 kms. west of Temuco, on the southeast slope of Lonquimay Volcano, at an altitude of 1.400 mts. above sea level, and surrounded by an extraordinary araucaria forest. Since thea area is void of rocks and cracks, the quality of snow and tracks is excellent for practising the white sport.



Basic Information

Within Montaña of Corralco there is the Malalcahuelo National Reserve, one of the oldest and most beautiful protected areas in our country. Besides, it is also possible to visit Conguillío National Park, located on the slopes of Llaima Volcano, home to Malalcahuelo mountain village.

Due to its location and characteristics, the center not only receives tourists in winter, but in every season. Amongst the services it offers, you can find accommodation in Montaña de Corralco Lodge, cafeteria, nursery, and ski school.

The center operates every Saturday, Sunday, holidays throughout the season, and Fridays in September.

How to get there
Santiago-Concepción: by plane. From Concepción to Temuco: 75 miles. From Los Ángeles and Angol you can take the route that comes from Concepción. The Center is accessible from Pucón, Victoria and Lautaro, north of Temuco, passing by Curacautín and Malalcahuello.

Skiing, randonnée, mountaineering, snowshoeing or snow racket treks, ride on Ecotrax, Nordic skiing.

Montaña Corralco Restaurant, located in Corralco Lodge, offers exclusive dishes prepared by the chef Martín Urrizola Vogel. They are unique, and include local ingredients from the IXth region. The restaurant also offers an extensive Wines & Liquors menu.

 

 

 

Trails and Lifts

Corralco boasts a skiable area of over 2,400 acres, perfect for nordic and randonnée skiing lovers. The center has seven tracks for skiing or snowboarding, for all levels of skiers, from beginner to expert. There, you can also practice freeride skiing.


Corralco has three lifts: a 1.400 mt. chairlift, a 500 mt. teleski, and a 250 mt. school lift.

Lifts Operation time: 09:00 am to 5:00 pm.
