Hertz charges an additional fee of US 6 dollars (per day) to any vehicle rented at a Chilean airport.
TAG is a free-flow tolling device that is put on the front windshield and registers each time a vehicle crosses through checkpoints installed all over Santiago’s highways. Hertz receives a monthly bill per each car of its fleet.
Given that a client might not be used to driving on Chilean highways, Hertz has arranged a fixed mandatory charge of US 5 dollars per each day and rented vehicle.
