Cruises to San Rafael Lagoon
San Rafael Lagoon is a coastal lake located in the region of Aysén, on the foot of Northern Patagonian Ice Fields. It has a surface area of 123 km2, its origin is pre-glacial, and San Rafael Glacier flows into it. With over 3 thousand years, the glacier and its nearby icebergs are the most important attraction in the area. This lagoon is set within the borders of Laguna San Rafael National Park, which has a surface area of 1.742.000 hectares.

The lagoon was declared a Biosphere Reserve in 1979 by Unesco. You can find several vessels to sail it, with different extensions. Some take six hourse, and others stay in the lagoon for up to five days.
