Puyehue Hot Springs
Puyehue Hot Springs are placed inside the National Park of the same name, and amid ancient forests of larch, Podocarpus nubigenuss, Persea lingue and coigüe. These springs where originally created in 1910 and offer visitors basic services of both natural and thermal hot baths. Inside, the complex boasts facilities with sulfur and mud baths and two swimming pools, one of them roofed. Thermal water here is pure and crystal clear, reaching temperatures up to 70°C in its source.
Water properties in these springs, which have great sedative and analgesic effects, were discovered in the beginning of the 17th century. These are recommended to treat, stress, skin conditions, rheumatism, arthritis, diabetes, obesity, the nervious system, cardiovascular conditions and neuralgias. The springs are opened all year and you can reach them by traveling along Ruta Internacional 215, a paved road, until reaching kilometer 64 from where you can enter to Puyehue National Park.

Facilities
This Thermal SPA is run by a highly qualified and experienced staff. Some of the available facilities include a sauna, individual hydromassage bathtubs, double and single baths. They are all equipped with showers, a lounge and a changing room. There is also a gym with treadmills, bikes, weight machines, and music. As for relaxation, the facilities offer rooms for massage therapy and reflexology, fangotherapy and a lounge with four recliners. There is also a cosmetics boutique and a hair salon.
The SPA has 3 pools: a covered pool (99°F to 102°F) and two outdoor pools, one hot (91°F to 99°F) and the other a cooler (68°F to 71°F). The sheltered pool features a small, cool-water pool and another one for hydromassages that exceeds 104°F (40°C). The cool water pool also has a hydromassage, and there is also a water pool for children, bubble beds, jets of water, and a waterfall that you can access by bridge.
