Conceived and built by a traditional family of German origin, who lived in the area since the middle of the XIX Century, Hotel Cabañas del Lago was founded by Mr Luis Wellmenn and it opened to the public in 1980.

Throughout the years, this family enterprise has gained an important role as a tourist referent in the region promoting, encouraging and keeping the German customs in every corner of the hotel, from their food to the decoration of their 130 rooms.

Fees are per room per night and include breakfast, in U.S. dollars (US$) and equivalent in Chilean pesos (CL).
Fees are expressed in American Dollars and apply to foreign tourists (properly documented with passport or equivalent). These fees consider a tax exemption of the Value Added Tax ("Impuesto al Valor Agregado" or IVA, in Chile). For residents of Chile, a 19% IVA must be added to the fees previously mentioned.
Fees may be subject to change without previous notification. These DO NOT apply to events, conferences and fairs.
Cancellation Policies:
The deadline for cancellation of individual reservations is: in high season (November 1 to March 31) is 7 days before the arrival of the passengers. In low season (April 1 through October 31) is 3 days before the arrival of the passengers. For No Shows, the hotel will charge the equivalent of one night with the 19% of IVA.
