	This hotel is located overlooking Puerto Varas, within walking distance from the Plaza de Armas, the Casino, the city’s lakeshore drive, and with a panoramic view of the unbeatable Llanquihue lake and Osorno Volcano.

Colonos del Sur Hotel, at the summit of Puerto Varas, was established in mid-1998 after the purchase and remodelling of one of the old, classic and typical German mansions of the city, built in the mid-20th century, its purpose being to offer and display part of the history of the German colonists who settled in this zone.

Colonos del Sur Hotel has a well-known coffee shop, Westfalia Bar and Restaurant, a look-out point, a business centre, event rooms, a board room. The Hotel has 86 rooms. 50 luxury rooms carefully furbished and equipped, with an extraordinary view of the city as well as the volcanoes and the lake. 36 standard rooms are comfortably furnished with a view of the city, Mount Philippi and the surrounding residential areas.

The Hotel has a room (Mirador) on the 8th floor of the main Tower which has a 360º view of Puerto Varas.
