	While outdoors, Portillo lifts will allow you to do amazing freeride descents, randonnée and heliskiing, indoors you can relax in our living room, where you will  find cozy sofas, ideal for reading, playing cards and backgammon. There, you can just chill by the fireplace, or enjoy the excellent menus that the hotel kitchen offers.

Description

Recognizable for its legendary yellow Portillo Hotel features rooms overlooking the lagoon or the valley. Pllus, there are 2 annexed lodges and 8 chalets, which provide an alternative to the traditional hotel room. The hotel and its annexes have all the comfort you need to make your stay an unforgettable experience. No car is needed as your room is only a lift ride away from the ski slopes, dining room, bar, and club. Everything is set to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

 

The second floor terrace is a nice place to relax and contemplate the sun shining over Inca Lagoon. Yoga and stretching lessons are given in the gym and pool; the internet room is at your disposal; the bar has live music every night; and the club is open until the wee hours of the evening.

Rooms
The main hotel has double and single rooms, family apartments, and suites overlooking the valley and the lagoon. Valley rooms have a stunning view of the mountains, while Lake rooms have an amazing view of Inca Lagoon, which makes the price difference completely worth it. The rooms are decorated simply and comfortably. All of them have a safety box, telephone, frigobar, and internet access (wifi and internet room). Rooms do not have TV, inviting the guests to relax, make use of the sport facilities, and enjoy the activities our staff has prepared for you.
 
Entertainment
Portillo has all kinds of entertainment, activities and facilities to make its guests enjoy their stay. The living room is a great place to hang out, read, play chess or backgammon, or just relax by the fireplace. Our couches are comfy spots for reading a book, and we have a library stocked with a few gems and loads of mystery and romance novels. The second floor terrace is a nice place to sit and contemplate the sun shining over Inca Lagoon; yoga and stretching lessons are given in the gym and pool; the internet room is at your disposal; the bar features live music every night; and the club is open until the wee hours of the evening.

Rates are per person and expressed in US dollars

Ski Week: 8 days / 7 nights: all rates apply on a Saturday-to-Saturday stay. 

Seasons 2013
Low:  from September 7th to October 5th.
Regular: from June 22th to July 6th. Also from August 3th to September 7th.
High: from July 6th to August 3th


The program includes

• 7 night lodging in Portillo Hotel in room of your choice.
• 7 days unlimited access to ski lifts.
• 4 meals per day (breakfast, lunch, tea, and dinner).
• Free access to the swimming pool, gym, aerobics, yoga lessons, cinema, game room, club, piano bar, ski and boots room. Activities for children, youngsters, and adults.
• Day care for children ages 3 to 7 years.

Notes

• Check in and check out: arriving guests will receive their rooms by 2:00 pm. Check-out is before 11:00 am. If guests check out before 10:00 am, they will receive an 8th day of skiing FREE!
• Children up to 3 years are free of charge if accompanied by an adult. Only one additional bed allowed per room. Children and youngsters must certify their age through a proper identification.
• The hotel puts at your disposal additional beds for adults. If needed, check price. For more comfort, the hotel does not recommed additional beds for adults.
• There are lack-of-snow and special roads policies.

 Observations

• Rates are expressed in American Dollars and apply to foreign tourists (properly documented with passport or equivalent). These fees consider a tax exemption of the Value Added Tax ("Impuesto al Valor Agregado" or IVA, in Chile). For residents of Chile, a 19% IVA must be added to the fees previously mentioned.
• Fees may be subject to change without previous notification. These DO NOT apply to events, conferences and fairs.
• Please, read our Terms and Conditions of Sale.
• Hotel Cancellation Policies: if the reservation is cancelled 62 or more days before the programmed arrival date: a charge of 10% of the amount paid is retained. If the reservation is cancelled between 62 and 32 days in advance: 50% is retained. If the reservation is cancelled less than 32 days in advance: no refund.

1 Child Free Ski:
During the following weeks, mothers and/or fathers who are paying guests in the hotel may bring one of their children between 4 and 12 years old (inclusive) for a completely free Portillo ski week:

• June 22th to June 29th
• August 31th to September 7th
• September 7st to September 14th
• September 14th to September 21th
• September 21th to September 28th

Conditions

• Offer valid for a mother and/or father and his and/or her son or daughter only.
• Promotion valid for a maximum of one child free per family. Each family may use up to one free stay per family group beginning with the rate of least value, even if that means a child who is under 4 years of age and free already.
• Child to occupy the same room as mother and/or father. An extra bed will be provided.
• In the case of one parent accompanying their child, the parent pays the Single rate and child is completely free.
• Proper documentation verifying child’s age may be required during check-in. 
• Promotion valid for all types of rooms except Suites and the Inca Lodge.
• Promotion valid for 7 night ski weeks only.

2 Children Free Ski:
During the following week, each mother and/or father who are paying guests of the hotel may bring one of their children between 4 and 12 years old (inclusive) for a completely free Portillo ski week:

• September 28th to October 5th

Conditions

• Offer valid for parents and their children only.
• Promotion valid for a maximum of two children free per family. Each family may use up to two free stays per family group beginning with the rate of least value, even if that means a child who is under 4 years of age and free already.
• Children to occupy the same room, or same type of room as parents, chosen and paid for by parents.
• In the case of one father or mother accompanying his/her son or daughter, the son or daughter is completely free.
• Proper documentation verifying child’s age may be required during check-in.
• Promotion valid for all types of rooms except Suites and the Inca Lodge.
