	A mountain refuge with shared rooms for groups of up to 4 people, with private bathroom at an excellent price. It has a relaxed, fun atmosphere, with access to all the facilities of Portillo Ski resort. This is the best starting point for experiencing the white sport.

 

Description

Octógono offers comfortable rooms with bunk beds and private bathrooms for groups of up to 4 people. These are an excellent option for families or groups of friends. The Octógono is the best value alternative in Portillo, and it's located within walking distance from the center's main hotel. Octógono's guests enjoy the same services all the other guests do, including meals in the main dining room.

 

Rooms

With this type of accommodation, guests pay for the bed, meaning that those who travel alone will most likely have to share a room with other guests of the same gender. Those who don't want to share a room have the option of having the room specially "closed" for two or three people, but at a different cost.

Rates

Ski Week: 8 days / 7 nights: all rates apply on a Saturday-to-Saturday stay.

Low: from September 7th to October 5th.
Regular: from June 22th to July 6th. Also from August 3th to September 7th.
High: from July 6th to August 3th

The program includes

• 7 night lodging in Octogono Lodge in room of your choice.
• 7 days unlimited access to ski lifts.
• 4 meals per day (breakfast, lunch, tea, and dinner).
• Free access to the swimming pool, gym, aerobics, yoga lessons, cinema, game room, club, piano bar, ski and boots room. Activities for children, youngsters, and adults.
• Day care for children ages 3 to 7 years.

• Transportation.
• Insurances.
• Daycare center for children ages 0 to 2. Available with additional cost.
• Tips
• Alcoholic and anon-alcoholic drinks, wine.
  
• Massages and beauty services.
• Rental Equipment.
• Ski school  classes.

Notes

• Check in and check out: arriving guests will receive their rooms by 2:00 pm. Check-out is before 11:00 am. If guests check out before 10:00 am, they will receive an 8th day of skiing FREE!
• Children up to 3 years are free of charge if accompanied by an adult. Only one additional bed allowed per room. Children and youngsters must certify their age through a proper identification.
• The hotel puts at your disposal additional beds for adults. If needed, check price. For more comfort, the hotel does not recommed additional beds for adults.
• There are lack-of-snow and special roads policies.

Observations

• Rates are expressed in American Dollars and apply to foreign tourists (properly documented with passport or equivalent). These fees consider a tax exemption of the Value Added Tax ("Impuesto al Valor Agregado" or IVA, in Chile). For residents of Chile, a 19% IVA must be added to the fees previously mentioned.
• Fees may be subject to change without previous notification. These DO NOT apply to events, conferences and fairs.

• Hotel Cancellation Policies: if the reservation is cancelled 62 or more days before the programmed arrival date: a charge of 10% of the amount paid is retained. If the reservation is cancelled between 62 and 32 days in advance: 50% is retained. If the reservation is cancelled less than 32 days in advance: no refund.

1 Child Free Ski:
During the following weeks, mothers and/or fathers who are paying guests in the hotel may bring one of their children between 4 and 12 years old (inclusive) for a completely free Portillo ski week:

• June 22th to June 29th
• August 31th to September 7th
• September 7st to September 14th
• September 14th to September 21th
• September 21th to September 28th

Conditions

• Offer valid for a mother and/or father and his and/or her son or daughter only.
• Promotion valid for a maximum of one child free per family. Each family may use up to one free stay per family group beginning with the rate of least value, even if that means a child who is under 4 years of age and free already.
• Child to occupy the same room as mother and/or father. An extra bed will be provided.
• In the case of one parent accompanying their child, the parent pays the Single rate and child is completely free.
• Proper documentation verifying child’s age may be required during check-in.
• Promotion valid for all types of rooms except Suites and the Inca Lodge.
• Promotion valid for 7 night ski weeks only.

2 Children Free Ski:
During the following week, each mother and/or father who are paying guests of the hotel may bring one of their children between 4 and 12 years old (inclusive) for a completely free Portillo ski week:

• September 28th to October 5th

Conditions

• Offer valid for parents and their children only.
• Promotion valid for a maximum of two children free per family. Each family may use up to two free stays per family group beginning with the rate of least value, even if that means a child who is under 4 years of age and free already.
• Children to occupy the same room, or same type of room as parents, chosen and paid for by parents.
• In the case of one father or mother accompanying his/her son or daughter, the son or daughter is completely free.
• Proper documentation verifying child’s age may be required during check-in.
