	RocaNegra Mountain Lodge & Spa is a great place for the family and friends to enjoy their vacations,. This hotel is immersed in Chillán's andean area, surrounded by forests, lagoons, ponds, hot water rivers, and a varied fauna. It's close to Nevados de Chillán Ski Center and its numerous activities.

Description

 With a unique architecture in the area, Rocanegra Mountain Lodge & Spa is built in wood and volcanic rock. Its maximum capacity is 28 people, and it features two spacious living rooms, a lovely volcanic stone fireplace, and many other facilities.

All the materials used in the construction of the Hotel were hand picked, both the volcanic rocks (which cover 60% of the Hotel infrastructure) and the cypress, mañío, and rauli trunks, which were used in the columns and stairs.

Environmental care and ecological sustainability is one of the owners' main concerns. Therefore, for every tree removed for building Rocanegra Lodge, three of the same species were planted in different areas of the Valley.

Rooms

RocaNegra Mountain Lodge features 10 rooms (doubles, quads, and 2 romantic suites), all of which are decorated in a rustic, elegant style, and include private bathroom. The double rooms on the first floor feature private terraces, while the quadruple on the second floor, have a mezzanine with 2 beds. Suites have a terrace, balcony, and whirlpool tub.

All rooms have box spring beds, hypoallergenic pillows and duvets. Bathrobes and slippers are delivered.


Infrastructure

This mountain hotel features a fine restaurant serving authentic international and local cuisine, besides the excellente wines of its cellar. For your entertainment, the hotel also has a billar room, and a living room with satellite TV, parlour games, Nintendo wii, and wi-fi Internet.

Besides, there is a wide range of services, including jacuzzi, sauna, swimming pool, gym and even a mountain spa area where guests can enjoy an afternoon of massage therapy.


Activities

Summer: swimming, trekking, horseback riding, mountain biking (cross country, downhill, freerife), hiking to volcanoes, bird watching and wildlife appreciation.

Winter: skiing and snowboarding, snowmobiles (from 1 hour to full day outings to the backcountry), snowshoe walks, mini ramp (skate, roller, bmx), trampoline.

The activities can be medium, low, and high difficulty, and the duration depends on the chosen route, from 3 hrs to full day.

• Fees are expressed in American Dollars and apply to foreign tourists (properly documented with passport or equivalent). These fees consider a tax of the Value Added Tax ("Impuesto al Valor Agregado" or IVA, in Chile). For foreign tourists, a 19% IVA must be discounted to the fees previously mentioned.
