You begin with an early morning departure from our hotel to drive along the southern shoreline of Llanquihue Lake, towards the village of Ensenada. From here you get to see the flanks of the Volcano Osorno. After some time to photograph this spectacular mountain, you continue your way to the village of Cochamó. Here you will take time to see its historical church built in 1850 with shingles, the Chilean redwood, alerce. You continue your route towards the Puelo River valley. Approaching the Andes, you enter a steep-walled valley originating in Argentina. You drive along this river to reach Lake Tagua-Tagua. Here you enjoy a delicious lunch while you await the arrival of your ferry.
Loading your vehicle on the ferry you cross Lake Tagua-Tagua, and then continue along a recently opened road, built to allow access to pioneer settlements in this isolated region. Upon arrival at your lodge, Posada Martin Pescador, you take time to settle in and enjoy some refreshments. Then during the afternoon you have two options: 1. Visiting the Llanada Grande Falls, cascades that fall vertically from an impressive height, or 2. Conoeing on Lake Totoral contemplating its magnificent surroundings. On your return, your cozy cabin awaits you, along with a hearty Patagonian–style meal. (L, D)

Today you travel up the Puelo River valley to El Portón, where you board a Jet-boat for a 45-minute trip upstream to La Pasarela. Here, you'll cross a suspension bridge used by the local community to go to Argentina. After this marvelous experience, you return to your lodge for lunch. There will be free time that afternoon to enjoy the lodge’s surroundings. Dinner and lodging included. (B, L, D).

On reaching Caleta Puelche you board the ferry to cross to the other side of the fiord, where you connect with Chile’s Carretera Austral into Puerto Montt or Puerto Varas.
