5hrs / 9km /5.6 mi / 350mts difference in height The group heads to Cocham贸, a town located in the Reloncavi Estuary, the first fjord in all Patagonia. There, you'll meet the local guide, load the horses and begin the trek through a valley covered with vegetation, with spectacular views of granite walls. Once you've settled in Cocham贸 refuge, in Las Juntas area, you can explore the area or just swim in the river while waiting for the dinner the be ready. BL-D

7hrs/4km/2.5 mi/900mt difference in height At dawn, you'll be surrounded by granite mountains. Then, you'll ascend 900mts, going through ma帽io, coig眉e, alerce and lenga trees. After walking 5 hours and climbing 2 fixed ropes (easy and safe to do), you will be in the highlands of Cocham贸 Valley, with breathtaking views of the valley and the granite walls. After a nice lunch you will walk back to the refuge to enjoy a hot shower and a delicious homemade pizza to end the day. B-BL-D

4hrs / 9km /5.6 mi/ 350mts descent After a big breakfast you will begin your way towards the fjords of Pumalin Park. You will hike some 9k/5.5mi downhill and then reach the road, where a minibus will be waiting to take you to R铆o Puelo town. There, you will spend the night on a camping site that is equipped with hot water and bonfires. B-BL-D

This day you won鈥檛 have much physical activity as you'll go by land to the first stage of the Carretera Austral to enjoy yourself in the Pichicolo spring baths. Later on, you will visit 鈥淧atagonia el Cobre鈥 mini park, where you'll spend the night in a camping set within the native forest, facing Cumao fjord. B-BL-D

聽3,5hrs / 13 km/8 mi You'll head south through a penetration road from where you'll go into the sea with your kayak. There, you will receive instructions on safety, rescue and paddling techniques. You'll start paddling towards Quintupeo fjord (4 hours in the heart of Pumalin Park). This amazing fjord features massive granite walls and waterfalls that plunge straight into the ocean. You will camp and enjoy the afternoon in this stunning corner of the world. B-BL-D

6hrs / 25 km./16 mi This will be your longest day: you will paddle for 5 to 6 hours, nearly 16mi. Depending on the weather and tide, you might have to do some night sailing, which will give you a different perspective on the fiord. As every effort is rewarded, after 5 hors you will arrive at Cahuelm贸 Fjord, a wonderful place with big mountains that rise from the sea and then go inland amongst narrow valleys, just waiting to be explored. You will see a colony of sea lions, and once you have reached the end of the fjord you will find the Cahuelm贸 Hot Springs, a part of the Pumalin Project. You will set camp near the natural pools dug on the rock by local people in the early 30`s, then enjoy a hot spring bath and the amazing southern sunset, followed by a dinner and a free afternoon. This day you will enjoy the thermal springs and short hikes as you wait for the boat that will take you to Hornopir茅n. There, you will find the mini bus that will drive you back to Puerto Varas, crossing by ferry the Reloncavi Fjord towards Puerto Montt. B-BL

The program includes
- All meals from days 1 to 7, including walk snack, box lunch, breakfast, and dinner with cheese and wines
- All land and water transportation
- Lodging in Cocham贸 refuge for 2 nights and 4 nights in an organized camping
- All camping equipment: Mountain Hard Wear tents for 2 people, Therma Rest inflatable mattresses, kitchen tent, awning and 70lt dry bags for your personal equipment.
- All kayaking equipment: Kayak with rudder and Prijon equipment (German), double and simple, rows, skirts, row jackets, life jacket, dry bags for your equipment and camera.
- Professional First aid kit, GPS, UHF Radios, handy, maps and repair kits, cell phone and more
- Bilingual Guides (Spanish-English) accredited by Wilderness First Response, guide of the national school mountain with wide experience in trekking and long trips. Kayaking guides also accredited by Wilderness First Response; widely experienced in sea kayak, long trips to remote places.
- Local guide and load horses (one every 3 passengers)
- Boat on day 7 from Cahuelm贸 to Hornopir茅n trip to guarantee the scheduled return.
