DESCRIPTION

Parque Andino Juncal is a private protected area located amidst the Andes mountains. From here, you will be able to explore valleys and gullies which are surrounded by glaciers and rock walls. You'll also be able to obvserve native flora and fauna, such as condors and foxes.

Itinerary

Departure: From Santiago, early in the morning, heading to Juncal Andean Park, located in Valparaíso Region, about 2 1/2 hours away from Santiago and 11/2 from Los Andes.

Trekking: around 6-7 hours (both ways) to reach the astonishing Juncal hill glacier.

Lunch: picnic/ sandwich

Return to Santiago during the afternoon.
