DESCRIPTION

The story begins when a group of tourists crossed the Andes Mountains through a frontier pass, joining Peulla in the Chilean side with Bariloche in Argentina. This is an ecological adventure not to be missed. In this Program, you will have the chance of sailing four different lakes: Llanquihue, Todos los Santos, Fríasand Nahuel Huapi.

Itinerary

07.45 hrs. Departures from Puerto Montt.

08.30 hrs. Departures from Puerto Varas.
The tour will then follow to Petrohue, bordering Llanquihue Lake. Throughout the journey on route, you will be able to enjoy imposing sights of Osorno and Calbuco Volcanoes. Entrance to Vicente Perez National Park, place in where you will visit the Petrohue falls (tickets not included), impressive volcanic rock shapes, in which the esmerald green water covers.

10.30 hrs. Set sail to Peulla, navegating Todos los Santos Lake, if the weather permits it you will keep on enjoying the scenery of Osorno and Puntiagudo Volcanoes and Tronador Hill.

12.15 hrs. Arrival to Peulla, ecological Village, paradise for the nature lovers. Here you will have lunch (not included).

14.00 hrs. We will board a bus with destination to Puerto Frias, Customs procedures to exit Chile and enter Argentina. We will cross the Andes Mountains at only 976 metres over sea level. We will start to go down road to Puerto Frías, and navigate through the lake that receives the same name: Lago Frias (Lake Frias) and head journey onto Puerto Alegre, place in where we will board a bus to Puerto Blest.

19.00 hrs. Depart from Puerto Blest, this will be our last navigation through Nahuel Huapi Lake with destination to Puerto Pañuelo, we will take a bus to do the last portion and destination to “The Argentinean city of Tourism”, San Carlos de Bariloche. City in which throughout the year fascinates the tourist with its Ski centre, commerce, hotels, restaurants and night life.

21.30 hrs. Arrival into Bariloche. End of the services.

Although this Expedition Cruise is a natural adventure, the participants and staff’s security are a priority. The boats are completely equipped and maintained for any adverse condition we may encounter. In the same way, the crew is formed of officials with vast experience doing excursions of this type. The company has the priorities of doing exciting, interesting, and different excursions with the security standards necessary for doing this type of activity.
The service from Puerto Montt to Bariloche or vice versa may be interrupted at any point, staying one night or more at the hotel and then continuing the next day at an established time.
The Andean Crossing is a tourist circuit; the schedules are referential and may be changed by weather conditions and quantity of passengers.
The maximum equipment permitted is 2 backpacks of 20 kilos each. The excess equipment will have an additional cost.
From October to April, Andean Crossing can be performed in one full day without hotel accommodation. From May to September the program must realize staying one night in Peulla.
