DESCRIPTION
Andean Crossing is a journey that goes from Puerto Montt, in Chile, to San Carlos de Bariloche, in Argentina, or vice versa. In it you'll visit 4 different lakes: Llanquihue, Todos los Santos, Frías, and Nahuel Huapi. The trip was born when a group of tourists crossed the Andes through a border crossing, joining Peulla (Chile) and Bariloche (Arg.). From then on, this has turned into an ecologic adventure that you can't miss.

Day 1: Puerto Montt – Lake Todos Los Santos Lake- Peulla
07.45 hrs. Departure from Puerto Montt.
08.30 hrs. Departure from Puerto Varas.
The tour will then follow onto Petrohue, bordering Lake Llanquihue. During the journey, you will enjoy imposing sights of Osorno and Calbuco Volcanoes. Entrance to Vicente Perez National Park, where you will visit the Petrohue falls, impressive volcanic rock shapes covered by esmerald green waters.
10.30 hrs. Set sails to Peulla, navegating Lake Todos los Santos. You will keep on enjoying the scenery of Osorno and Puntiagudo Volcanoes and Tronador Hill (weather permitting).
12.15 hrs. Arrival at Peulla, a paradise for the nature lovers. Here, you will have lunch (not included). Afternoon at leisure to enjoy optional excursions (tours not included in itinerary).

Day 2: Peulla – Lake Nahuel Huapi – San Carlos de Bariloche
09.00 hrs. You will board a bus with destination to Puerto Frias, and pass customs procedures to leave Chile and enter Argentina. You will cross the Andes Mountains at only 976 metres over sea level. Then, you will start going downhill to Puerto Frías, and navigate through the lake bearing the same name. After this, you'll head to Puerto Alegre, where you will board a bus to Puerto Blest. Lunch (not included).
16.30 hrs. Departing from Puerto Blest, you will start the last navigation through Lake Nahuel Huapi Lake, heading to Puerto Pañuelo. Then, you will take a bus to cover the last portion of the road heading to Bariloche, “The Argentinean city of Tourism”, which fascinates the tourist with its ski centres, commerce, hotels, restaurants and nightlife.
19.00 hrs. Arrival at Bariloche. End of services.

Optional Excursions
You can do the Lakes Crossing programme in 1 day. This programme leaves from Puerto Montt at 8:00 AM and arrives in Bariloche at 9:30 PM. The programme can also be done from Bariloche to Puerto Varas during the Spring – Summer season. Does not include accommodations or board.

Notes
- The program does not include transfers from Puerto Varas hotel to Puerto Montt. It does not include transfers from the offices in Bariloche to the Hotel either. Ask about special deals.
- Although this Expedition Cruise is a natural adventure, the participants and staff’s security are a priority. The boats are completely equipped and maintained for any adverse condition we may encounter. In the same way, the crew is formed by officials with vast experience on excursions of this type. The company has the priorities of doing exciting, interesting, and different excursions with the security standards necessary for doing this type of activity.
- The service from Puerto Montt to Bariloche or vice versa may be interrupted at any point, staying more than one night at the hotel and then continuing the next day at an established time.
- The Andean Crossing is a tourist circuit; the schedules are referential and may be changed due to weather conditions and quantity of passengers.
- The maximum equipment permitted is 2 backpacks of 20 kilograms each. Any excess of equipment weight will have an additional cost.
- From October to April, the Andean Crossing may be done in a complete day, without staying at the Peulla Hotel. From May to September the program must realize staying one night in Peulla.
