DESCRIPTION
You'll visit Humberstone and Santa Laura saltpeter offices, discovering the ghost towns left behind when the saltpeter boom was over. Then you'll see Pintados Geoglyphs, more than 400 figures spread over the slopes of the coastal range. It's one of Chile's most spectacular archaeological areas.

We start the trip road to the pampa where we'll visit former salpetre offices Santiago Humberstone and Santa Laura, both declared National Monuments.
Complete tour across these ghost towns that'll make us return to the past and discover the spectacular years of economic prosperity of the salpetre, also known as "white gold".
Following the road, we'll visit one of the most amazing archeological site in the North, the Painted Hills (Geoglifos Pintados), featuring more than 400 painted figures streching along the hillsides of the Coastal Range. Â
