DESCRIPTION
Part of the Biosphere Programme, Chungará is the highest non-navigable lake in the world. There's a great variety of andean birds and camelids like llamas, alpacas, vicuñas, and guanacos

Dparture from the hotel at 7:30
The tour starts in Lluta Valley, where you'll see geoglyphs made by ancient andean cultures
Ascend through Cardones gully and observation of candelabra cactus
Visit to Copaquilla Pukará and stop in Socoroma village. Stop in Putre.
At 4000mt ht, we'll pass by The Caves area, with its beautiful wetlands, and a great variety of vicuñas and southern viscachas
Around 1:00 pm you'll arrive at Chungará lake and have spare time to go around these beautiful landscapes, which are crowned by Payachatas volcanoes. Birds and camelids sighting.
On the way back we'll stop at Cotacotani lakes viewpoint, which are originated by the thaws and the great amounts of volcanic rock
Later on, you'll visit Parinacota town, remarkable for its beautiful church and the craftworws made by the locals.
In the afternoon we'll visit the village of Putre
Lunch. Return to Arica
Estimated arrival at Arica at 19:00.
