The south end of Tierra del Fuego goes from west to east along the southern limit of the Andes range, which in these latitudes changes its name to Darwin mountains. After submerging in Magellan Strait, the mountains arise with 2.000 mt peaks covered with eternal snow. The ice masses move slowly from these peaks into the sea, carving a spectacular landscape filled with fjords.
