Lagunillas is the only ski center situated at 2,200m, this small center receives
ski fanatics and admirers of a beautiful, tranquil atmosphere
that other centers do not possess. Lagunillas is administrated by the Club
Andino and has a skiable area of 200 hectares with 13 slopes. It
is ideal for all mountain activities, including randonné and snowboarding.
2009 Season: Opening date is not available at this time.
Location
Lagunillas is located at 83 km. to the southeast of Santiago, Region Metropolitana.
16 km to the southeast is San José de Maipo. Location.
When to go
Between the middle of June and the middle of October.

How to get there
Leave Santiago towards San José de Maipo, after 3 kilometers
you will pass a village where you take a left towards the center. It is 17 kilometers on an
unpaved but good road. In the winter season, it is obligatory
to use snow chains from the police control post to the

Lagunillas offers 13 runs whose grade of difficulty vary from
easy, medium, difficult, to only for experts. The most popular
runs at Lagunillas are Novicios, Pancho and La Lola which are from 350 to 1,100 m long.
Furthermore, at this ski center you can also ski at night. The center offers four surface lifts:

You can buy passes from the ticket offices at the ski center as
well as in Santiago, at the office of the Club Andino de Chile (Alameda
108, office 118).
High Season: from July 01th to August 15th, as well
as Saturdays, Sundays
and public holidays throughout the season.
Low Season: Remaining time (from Monday to Friday).
