Antillanca Ski Center
Surrounded by volcanoes and the lovely backdrop of Puyehue National Park, Antillanca was founded in 1951, when Carlos Buschmann, representative of the Club Andino de Osorno, set up the first refuge for skiers in the area. This refuge was named Antillanca, meaning "jewel of the sun" in the Mapuche language.
