The Juan Fernández Archipelago is a group of islands located in the South Pacific, more than 670 kilometers from South America. It is made up of the Robinson Crusoe Islands (formerly known as Más a Tierra), Alejandro Selkirk (Más Afuera), the Santa Clara islet and minor islets. The archipelago is part of the territory of Chile and administratively belong to the province of Valparaiso. The islands are famous for the novel, Robinson Crusoe.
