The Viña Matetic is located in the Valley of Rosario, a few kilometers from the Pacific coast in the Region of Valparaiso.
The history of the Viña began in 1999 with the challenge of planting Syrah in a cold climate zone and becoming a benchmark of wines, focused on quality and excellence. It was thus they created wines that later were showing the great potential of coastal Chile.
This was how a team was formed with the best professionals in the world of oenology, organic agriculture and biodynamics to make this vineyard a friendly place with the environment and nature.
Currently, Viña Matetic has 150 hectares of coastal vineyards and exports to more than 30 countries in the world.
The mission of the vineyard is to produce wines with a sense of origin and authentic, under processes that respect the environment. At the same time they expect to become an innovative vineyard, with a high quality, avant-garde and 100% sustainable wine production.
You can visit through tours that include horseback riding through the vineyards, wine tasting and a rich lunch.
