The Yunque Hill is one of the most visited places on Robinson Crusoe Island for its history and for being the starting point of different trails that will take you to know one of the most endemic forests in the world.
The Yunque hill is the highest mountain on Robinson Crusoe Island. At its base is the El Yunque square that for more than 10 years housed the German sailor Hugo Weber, the survivor of the ship Dresden.
From this point, trekking can be done through endemic forests that are characterized by their great diversity of plant and animal species.
Gastronomy
The process of colonization on the island was more or less recent, there isn´t an ancient culinary tradition, so the islander cook what they have Within these ingredients are potatoes, onion, golden crab, lobsters, Octopus and fish the Pandora and the vidriola. In times of scarcity, they also eat goat meat.
