The fishing cove of Puerto Pizarro is located 13 kilometers northeast of the city of Tumbes, next to the Los Manglares de Tumbes National Sanctuary. This area is a refuge for various species of birds and local fauna, although it also stands out as a town dedicated to artisanal fishing and tourism.

On the Island of Love you can take walks and observe the mangrove species, as well as practice bird watching; in the Bone Island of Whale you can enjoy a moment of relaxation in the water park and; in the Island of the Birds you can take advantage of sighting thousands of frigate birds in their mangroves, which are endemic.
