With innumerable Inca ruins, pre-Columbian villages and trekking trails, the Sacred Valley or Urubamba River Valley, is one of the most beautiful in the world.

High mountains, green vegetation and colorful crops, the beautiful Urubamba River Valley is one of the favorite tourist attractions of those who travel to Peru. Better known as the Sacred Valley, due to its temperate climate, fertile soil and abundant streams, it is considered one of the most beautiful valleys on the planet. 

Small towns and villages that seem detained at the time of the viceroyalty, are mixed with innumerable Inca ruins of temples, forts, aqueduct systems and palaces that were built in the time of the Tahuantisuyo in the place where the Cusquenian food source was located.

Located just 15 minutes far from Cusco, it is the way to Machu Picchu and the land that houses incredible places such as the town of Pisac, renowned for its attractive handicraft market; Ollantaytambo, imposing Inca fortress of walls and towers; and Moray, impressive elliptical galleries that served as an agricultural research center for the Incas.
