Come to taste the typical dishes of the island of Chiloé, in a gastronomic tour that includes the visit of agricultural fields and dairy. Then we will visit the family camp Dimter Maldonado and next to them we will cook the "curanto to the hole" that consists of a chilote plate that is born of the earth.

We leave from your hotel in Castro at approximately 9:30 am and we will head for the Rio Chepu sector to appreciate a unique landscape of sunken forests from the 1960 earthquake and visit some locals.
Then we go to Coipomo where there is an agroecological farm whose owners are concerned to recover the Chilean agricultural biodiversity. Next to them we cross the field learning from the planting of garlic, native potatoes and the cultivation in greenhouses. We are also visiting their dairy and training center where we can share themes such as the Trafkintü (seed exchange) of local development and community work that they have developed.
At noon we travel a few kilometers to reach the Dimter - Maldonado family camp, pioneers in the development of agrotourism in Chile, being the founders of the first Agroturismo Network in Chiloé. They will be waiting for us to prepare the "curanto al hoyo" lunch, which is a typical chilote dish, which requires the participation of all those present. You can know the house, kitchen and the garden.
17:30: Return to the hotel in Castro.
