We will leave from your hotel approximately between 8:30 and 9:00 am and go to the Pampa Calichera where are the geoglyphs that date of more than a thousand years of antiquity and were drawn by the tropes caravans that traveled the route of the coast of Iquique.
We continue our the trip to the former saltpeter offices Santa Laura and Humberstone, places that are completely abandoned. Declared Heritage of the Humanity by Unesco in the year 2005, they are in the list of Endangered Heritage (places that are at risk of being destroyed by natural and warlike catastrophes, among others).
Later we will continue the tour to Pozo Almonte and La Tirana, where one of the most important religious festivals in Chile is celebrated in honor of the Virgen del Carmen. Then we will cross the Pampa del Tamarugal Forest Reservation in direction to the oasis of Pica, where we will have lunch and free time to enjoy the semi-thermal waters of Cocha Resbaladero.
During the afternoon we will visit the fruit market of the Oasis, the church of San Andrés and the town square, where we can taste rich juices and crafty ice creams. We will continue our visit in Jurassic Park to end up in the oasis of Matilla, which emphasizes the church of San Antonio and the Spanish Lagar, old center of wine manufacturing.
