The Río Trancura is one of the most important rivers of the Chilean Andean sector and is the main affluent of Lake Villarrica. Many excursions and tours are offered because you can practice rafting, fishing and kayaking.
It is one of the most famous rivers in the Region of Araucanía and is located a few kilometers from Pucón.
It is characterized because it receives hundreds of tourists who come to practice rafting and kayaking in its clear waters, surrounded by a natural environment of abundant vegetation. The Río Trancura is born from the Lake Quillelhue on the border with Argentina and has water courses more than 30 meters wide, surrounded by valleys and nature.
Some people practice fishing between Catripulli and Llaufica, which are the areas closest to the mouth.
