One of the biggest perks is the lack of crowds, but the best is the change in the foliage. In this time of the year, the woods turn red, brown and, yellow, turning into the perfect scenery for photography lovers.
1. Conguillío National Park
In autumn it's photogenic lagoons are framed by walls of red and yellow ñirres (Nothofagus Antarctica), that makes a beautiful contrast with the always green araucarias that characterizes this park.
2. Malalcahuello National Reserve
Located in the Araucanía region, it stands out for its Lonquimay volcano, that with its peak snowed, makes the perfect composition combined with the colorful fall slopes at its feet.
3. Huerquehue National Park
This magic park is located only a few kilometers from Pucón, where the best landscapes are given by the lagoons that reflect the colorful autumnal trees.
4. Torres del Paine National Park
The bluish-white Grey Glacier contrast with the orange-yellow colored Lengas (Nothofagus Pumilio) that all together stand out from the grey mountains and rock formations.
