It is a well-designed road with solid concrete bridges, but some parts are narrow and it lacks a good support infrastructure, making it necessary for travelers to carry enough gasoline.
Gastronomy
The typical dish of the region is the Lamb, which should pass through with a sword and bake the embers in a way inverted for a little more than two hours and a half. This is a long and familiar process served with potatoes, rice or various salads and inevitable pebre.

Stores in rural areas are open all day, but they close between 13.00 and 15.00. We advise you to carry local currency (Chilean pesos), since it isn’t possible to pay with debit or credit cards in kiosks and rural stores.
