In the south of Chile, in the 10th Region, 56 kilometers outside of Chaitén, by the Austral mountain range and the edge of Yelcho Lake, the Yelcho Tourist Complex is found in the middle of the nature reserve of the same name. It is made up of an exclusive hotel with 8 rooms with a view of the lake and the snowfalls, a large dining room for 40 people, international bar, cafeteria, and a lounge.
There are also comfortable cabins large enough for 6 people, fully equipped with kitchenette, refrigerator, heating by wood, terrace, telephone, outdoor grill, and access to the beach. Here there is a camping area with 15 sites of 48 sm, equipped with covered grills, wood, electric lights, running water, and first-rate hygienic services with hot water all night long. The Hotel has eight comfortable rooms (6 double, 2 triple) that have private bath and a view of the Lake, it also has a great room, dining area, bar, central heating, satellite TV, deck and a souvenir shop.
Entertainment
The main attraction of the area is the fishing and the water sports, in the lake as well as in the surrounding rivers. For sport fishing, the sector offers abundance in species such as the Fario and Rainbow trout. For this activity, a boat service for 3 persons including guide is offered.
Here you'll find the way to practice a lot of activities such us mountain biking excursions at lake Yelcho surrounding area, horseback riding, guided hiking, mountaineering and trekking to the magnificent Yelcho glacier. It is also possible to visit El Amarillo thermal baths and Caví spring waters. At the end of the day ping pong table, our game area or a toast in our warm bar will be awaiting you.
