ochamó is a town in the Region of the Lakes, located near the city of Puerto Varas. By this city becomes del Río Cochamó, which comes to the valle Cochamo, characterized by its large hills that are used to perform free climbing.

Commonly referred as the "Chilean Yosemite", Cochamó is a district located within the Province of Llanquihue, in Región de Los Lagos. Its capital city is the town of Río Puelo, named after the nearby river, a stream with great waterfalls and surrounded by forest.
