Day 1: Villarrica National Park - Pucón

Tour to learn from the heights the impressive Villarrica volcano located 20 kilometers from Pucon. From the top you'll see a view of different lakes and other volcanoes in the Region of Araucania.

We will pick you up at your accommodation at 10 AM to begin our journey to the Villarrica Volcano, famous worldwide for being one of the most active in Chile and all of South America.

At the entrance to the park, we will travel to the base of the Villarrica Volcano, where you can admire the surrounding lakes and volcanoes. After a walk along a lava trail, the transfer will take you to the ski center’s café, where you can explore part of this beautiful area.

At the end of the tour, we will return you to your hotel in Pucón or Villarrica.

Day 2: Huerquehue National Park - Pucón

Come to know the Huerquehue National Park in an all day excursion that allows you to know the best landscapes of araucarias forests, waterfalls, lakes and lagoons of the Region of La Araucanía.

We will depart from your hotel heading east towards the Huerquehue National Park, located 33 km from Pucón.


It is characterized by being a mountainous area with moderate slopes and impressive beauty, where we will find ravines, hills, forests of Araucarias, Lenga trees, among others. Unique wildlife such as Darwin’s frog, the Culpeo fox, and the Andean Condor can be spotted in the higher areas.
Huerquehue is known for its network of trails, which has made it one of the favorite parks for nature lovers and trekkers. Upon arrival, we will embark on the Los Lagos trail, which will take us on an 8.8-kilometer round-trip journey through the beautiful landscapes of Huerquehue National Park. The environment is mostly located within the Andean-Patagonian Forests Region and within the Andes mountain range of the Araucanía. We will see mountains, rivers, high-altitude lakes, and waterfalls. The surroundings will be dominated by beautiful trees, such as Araucarias, Tepas, Coihues, and Mañíos.


After completing the trek, we will return to your hotel in Pucón or Villarrica around 5:00 PM.

Day 3: Pucón - Ojos del Caburgua

Visit to the Mapuche community in Pucón

Tour to know Mapuche culture in the Region of La Araucanía.

We will pick you up at your hotel in Pucón or Villarrica to take the international route to Argentina, heading towards the town of Curarrehue, located 35 km away. In this unique mountain town, we will visit the intercultural Mapuche village Trawupeyüm, where there is an important thematic exhibit about the special Mapuche worldview.

The village museum offers a variety of photographic information, a display of Mapuche jewelry made of silver, and a wide range of typical instruments and clothing from our Chilean ethnicity. Visitors will also receive a guided explanation of the culture and customs of the brave Mapuche people. Next, we will head to a Mapuche community where we will share with a local family and have the opportunity to taste their typical dishes, such as vegetables, catutos, sopaipillas, Chilean pebre, and mudai.

Additionally, we will learn about their customs, music, and unique worldview of a warrior and farming people with over 12,000 years of history.

Afterward, we will transfer you back to your hotel.

Caburga and Palguín Tour

We invite you to explore the surroundings of Pucón in a full day excursion which will take you to visit the Palguin waterfalls and the best places in Caburgua lake.

At 10:00 or 15:00, we will depart from your hotel. 25 km from the city of Pucón is the town of Caburgua. Upon arrival at Ojos del Caburgua, you will be able to appreciate the numerous colorful waterfalls in a set of beautiful turquoise pools surrounded by native forest typical of the Valdivian rainforest.

In this beautiful location, an underground river emerges, which drains the famous Caburgua Lake. Afterward, we will begin our journey to Caburgua Lake, located 2 km from the site. At an altitude of 700 meters above sea level, and with an approximate area of 7,700 hectares, it is surrounded by the traditional Valdivian rainforest that covers the area. Local legend states that in the center of the lake lies a large crater from an extinct volcano, which is why the bottom of this lake is never found. We will visit the black sand beach and its scenic attractions, with mountains completely covered by the typical Valdivian rainforest vegetation. Passengers will notice that the lake’s warm waters are the result of thermal water springs inside the lake.

At the end of the tour, we will transfer you back to your hotel in Pucón.

Day 4: Pucón - Huilo-Huilo Biological Reserve

Visit the Huilo Huilo Biological Reservation in a complete tour that includes the waterfall and the enchanted forest. You will also visit villages like Lican Ray and finish at the Petermann Brewery.

We will depart at the agreed time towards the city of Villarrica. We will circle Lake Villarrica while taking a short city tour, visiting this historic city and exploring typical places such as its Craft Market, main avenues, the new boardwalk and viewpoints, the pier, and offering an impressive view of the Villarrica Volcano, which stands at 2,870 meters tall. We will then continue our journey to the tourist town of Licanray, where we will find Lake Calafquén, with its islands, waterfront, and main avenue.

Next, we will head towards the towns of Coñaripe and Pullinque, always following the shores of Lake Calafquén. Then, we will take the road to the private Huilo Huilo Nature Reserve to visit one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the region, La Leona Falls. After this natural-themed visit, we will follow the route around Lake Panguipulli, making stops for photos at the viewpoints along the lake. It's worth noting that on this route, we will also see a couple of unique hotels known for their architectural development (La Montaña Mágica, Nothofagus), fully integrated into the stunning Valdivian rainforest of the Los Rios region.

Lunch will be at a thematic restaurant in the area we are visiting, known as Huilo Huilo. On the way back, about 5 kilometers away, we will stop at the small town of Pto. Fuy, home to Lake Pirehuico, a departure point for passengers heading to San Martin de Los Andes.

At the end of the tour, we will return to the hotel.
