The prestigious Forbes magazine asked prominent influencers what their favorite low budget destinations were for this 2019

"I have no money" is no longer an excuse to stop traveling. Bloggers and travel influencers have been responsible for giving the best tips for traveling cheap and getting to know the world. That is why this year Forbes magazine brought together a group of experts and well-known travelers to create one of their most-read lists.

The prestigious publication made a list of the 39 cheapest places to visit this 2019 and the Chilean port of Valparaíso was among them.

Patricia Stone, the founder of Global Adventuress, was the one who chooses Valparaíso as her favorite low budget destination for 2019.

Stone, who has traveled to 164 countries looking for little international destinations, highlighted the Chilean port for its vibrant local life, its Bohemian profile, and its urban art.

The port, declared a World Heritage Site, is indeed one of the best places to visit with little money. Strolling through its colorful steep streets, watch the sunset in one of its many viewpoints, and contemplate its incredible murals are free tourist activities that make this destination one of the most striking for young backpackers or travelers who seek to save money to travel also to other destinies.

To make their choices, the influencers interviewed considered many factors such as the price of transportation, accommodation and the possibility of finding good food at affordable prices for all pockets.

Together with Valparaiso other destinies that can be found on the list are Turkey, Jamaica, Montreal, Cuba, and the Canary Islands among others.
