Mallin Colorado

Mallin Colorado Ecolodge is located on the shores of General Carrera Lake and features rustic and warm cabins with panoramic views amidst native forests.

There are 4 cabins in total, decorated with elements of the Chilean Patagonia. They are independent of each other, so they achieve an independence that makes them feel that they are alone in the middle of this landscape. Mallin Colorado Ecolodge offers a very personalized service. Its main objective is to get passengers to rest and enjoy nature.

The club house has a warm and well decorated space with a large stone fireplace. This place serves breakfast and meals. The kitchen is the soul of the home. It was designed by its owner, María Soledad Arteaga with lenga wood and has a large kitchen with firewood where all dishes are prepared with products from the area. For lovers of gastronomy, Mallin Colorado offers a culinary tour to cook an exquisite local dish.

On hot days, tables are prepared in the wild garden, where lupines and other colorful flowers bloom.

This all inclusive service offers excursions to know the surroundings through hiking, horseback riding and much more.

Recommendations

For the excursions is recommended to carry a backpack of 25 lts and several layers of clothing (Capilene, Fleeze, Polar), trousers convertible, windbreak. In Patagonia there is a lot of wind especially in summer. Wear a woolen hat, gloves, sunglasses and outdoor shoes.
