We are there at 7:30 a.m. in your hotel in Calafate to begin our tour to the Big Ice at the Perito Moreno Glacier. This experience begins at the Puerto "Bajo de las sombras" at 9:00 a.m. There we take the boat "Tehuelche" to cross the Brazo Rico and disembark 10 minutes later on the west coast.

 The mountain guides lead you even closer to the glacier to take the crampons and start the journey. The trail runs through the dark south of the Perito Moreno glacier, and in just over an hour you will find a spectacular viewpoint, where you can access the ice.

Once on the glacier and with the crampons on, we can see blue lagoons, deep cracks, huge sinkholes and caves. We will always be accompanied and instructed by expert guides, and we can explore the corners of the Perito Moreno glacier for three hours.

During the tour the guides are going tohelp us to know the ice and its surroundings. Lunch will be made on the white ice blanket for approximately 30 minutes. Then we walk another hour to take the boat that is taking us to the "civilization" at approximately 3:00 p.m.

Important: This excursion has high physical demand and difficulty of terrain, so it is only suitable for people between 18 and 50 years of age and who have an acceptable physical state, considering that you walk around 7 hours on ice and stones.
