This hiking is one of the most requested in Patagonia, and will lead us to discover incredible mountain landscapes that go from El Chaltén to Mount Fitz Roy.

We leave your hotel in El Chaltén at approximately 8:30 am to go to the beginning of the trail located 18 kilometers away at El Pilar Inn. A little before arriving, we stop at a panoramic point overlooking the Fitz Roy.
Then, we start the hike of an hour and a half approximately through the valley of the Blanco river and we are crossing forests of lengas and ñirre. We arrive at the first viewpoint overlooking the Piedras Blancas glacier.
We walk for 30 more minutes until we reach the Poicenot camp and then another 15 minutes more to Río Blanco. Those who want can go up to the Los Tres lagoon with an impressive view of the lagoon and the homonymous glacier with Mount Fitz Roy massif emerging from the ice with more than 2000 meters high.
Then, we deviate to peek into the Mirador de la Laguna Sucia, which will impress its color and we can also contemplate Lake Viedma panoramically.

15:30 hours: We begin the return to El Chaltén by the Mirador route of the Capri lagoon.
6:00 pm: We are be back at your hotel in Chaltén.
