    Do you want to know the Salar de Uyuni from San Pedro de Atacama? This 4-day travel package offers field trips and tours to know the best landscapes of the Bolivian highlands.

    Day 1: San Pedro de Atacama- Bolivian Altiplano

    What you will visit:

    • 1 Salar de Uyuni

    We leave from the hotel at approximately 7:30 am to the Salar de Uyuni. Then we cross the control of police and customs and we will start to go up to Paso al Cajón, located 60 kilometers from San Pedro de Atacama.

    Once in Bolivia, we will change to a 4x4 car to enter to Eduardo Abaroa National Park where we are visiting the white lagoon, green lagoon, thermal baths and Sol de Mañana géysers.

    Then we arrive at the Lagoon Colorada, which is located at 4,100 meters above sea level and is highlighted by a large number of microorganisms that in the light of the sun by photosynthesis produce different shades of red. This place is part of the most important flamingo reserve in Bolivia.

    Accommodation: Refugio Huayllajara.

    Day 2: Altiplanic lagoons and hot springs

    What you will visit:

    • 1 Salar de Uyuni

    We leave at 8:00 am for the Siloli Desert, where we will observe the Stone Tree, a rock of volcanic origin with a tree shape. Then we visit Laguna Chiarcote, Honda, Hedionda and Cañapa to continue towards Salar de Chiguana and the town of San Juan del Rosario.

    Accommodation:  Sal San Juan de Rosario Hostel.

    Day 3: Salar de Uyuni- Incahuasi Lagoon

    What you will visit:

    • 1 Salar de Uyuni

    We depart at 8:00 am to see the sunrise in the Salar de Uyuni. We are going to visit Incahuasi Island, a calcareous rock formation that is in the middle of the salar. We then continue our journey to Ojos del Salar and visit the Salt Mines, the Salt Museum, the Cementerio de Trenes and the village of Colchani

    14:00 hours: We  arrive to Uyuni, where we will have 2 hours of free time.

    16:00 hours: We go to the mountain village of Villa Mar which is approximately 2 hours away.

    Accommodation: Villa Mar Hostel.

    Day 4: San Pedro de Atacama

    Transfer: Hotel in Salar de Uyuni Hotel in San Pedro de Atacama

    We depart very early, at approximately 4:30 am from Villa Mar to cross the border between Chile and Bolivia.

    This journey takes about 4 hours. At the border we will change to a minibus that is taking us to San Pedro de Atacama at 12:30

    * This itinerary is subject to changes in the case of high-altitude winter rains (January to March), and may change the order of places to visit and / or accommodation included, always maintaining the level and conditions of the latter.

    • Basic accommodation:
    • 1st night in Refugio Huayllajara, in shared room with shared bathroom (without showers).
    • 2nd night in Sal San Juan de Rosario Hostel, in double room, with shared bathroom (shower with hot water).
    • 3rd night in Hostal Villa Mar, in double, triple or quadruple room, depending on availability) with shared bathroom (shower with cold water. To have hot water, you must pay an extra of Bs. 10 per person).
    NOT Included
    • Border tax (15 bolivians per person).
    • Tickets to parks (186 Bolivians per person).
    • Entrance to Andean Fauna National Reserve Eduardo Avaroa (150 Bolivians per person).
    • Entrance to Termas de Polques (6 Bolivians per person).
    • Entrance to Isla Incahuasi (30 Bolivians per person).
    • Access to bathrooms on the way (approximately 6 bolivianos each access).

    Recommendations

    We recommend:

    • Comfortable and warm clothing.
    • Comfortable footwear (ideally for trekking).
    • Washing and bath towel (for Spa of Polques).
    • "Sunglasses.
    • Block solar.
    • Sleeping bag.
    • Water (1 liter per person, per day).
    • Passport or identity card. If you are a resident alien in Chile you must bring both to present them at customs.
    • 300 bolivianos for expenses not included in the tour.
