Enjoy the most beautiful hike in the world in a shorter and more comfortable version for those who have little time in Torres del Paine National Park.
Day 1: Arrival at Torres del Paine National Park - Catamaran - Walk to Refugio Gray
After breakfast at your hotel in Puerto Natales, we will deliver your lunch box. Once this is done, you will have to go to the Bus Terminal Rodoviario where you will take a bus at 7:00 am that will take you directly to the Torres del Paine National Park (we recommend being at least 10 minutes before departure).
You will go through the vast Patagonian Pampas until you reach the entrance of the Park of Laguna Amarga, where you will have to register at the CONAF (Park Ranger) office. You will continue the trip on the same bus to the Pudeto Pier. At 11 am you can board the Catamaran that for approximately 35 minutes will sail through Pehoé Lake to leave you at the foot of the Paine Grande Refuge, from where we will depart the trek to Grey Refuge.
From the Paine Grande Refuge, we will begin the walk through a narrow and winding valley to the Laguna de Los Patos. As we move forward we will begin to see parts of the huge Southern Patagonian Ice Field, as well as the icebergs of Gray Lake. After passing through the windy viewpoint, we will descend through a mountainous forest until we reach the Gray Refuge. If you walk 10 more minutes from the Gray Refuge, you can reach the Gray Glacier Viewpoint from where it is possible to see the huge blue ice massif facing each other.
