If you want to know Santiago and all the Central Zone of Chile in depth then this program is for you! Walk the streets of the capital's downtown and historical center, visit the wonderful vineyards of this famous wine country, get involved with the Chilean culture in the museums of the famous poet Pablo Neruda and sample local food in just 5 days!

Day 1: Santiago

We will be meeting you at your arrival at the airport and take you to the hotel of your choosing where you can settle down before our first tour.

During the afternoon, we will visit Chile's capital, walking around downtown and getting to know the most important highlights Santiago has to offer. You’ll be able to see the Cathedral along with the Presidential Palace (La Moneda) in the Plaza de Armas. We will also guide you through the beautiful Concha y Toro neighborhood and end our trip in the Faba store, a well-known lapis lázuli store where you will learn about the deep blue semi-precious stone, only mined in Afghanistan and Chile, while you enjoy a delicious pisco sour.

 

Day 2: Maipo Valley - Folkloric Night

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel , we will head towards Concha y Toro, in the Maipo Valley. We will have an guided visit along with a wine tasting.

We will be back at the hotel for lunch, which is on your own.

At night, we will take you to the Bali Hai restaurant  to enjoy a traditional dinner and a folkloric show.

Day 3: Viña del Mar - Valparaíso

After breakfast, we will head towards Viña del Mar and Valparaiso, including a visit to "La Sebastiana" house-museum of Nobel Prize poet Pablo Neruda.

We will return to the hotel in the afternoon.

Day 4: Viña Undurraga - Isla Negra - Pomaire

After breakfast , we will make a full day tour. We will start by visiting the Undurraga Winery, where you can taste amazing chilean wines. We will then head towards Pomaire and have a traditional lunch.

Later on, we will visit Isla Negra, where another one of Neurda's house-museum is located. We will be back to the hotel in the afternoon.

Alternative 2:

For those adventurous travelers who want to get to know the Cordillera de Los Andes a little bit closer, you may choose to drive towards Valle Nevado and Farellones (between June and September it is possible to find snow).

Day 5: Santiago

After breakfast at the hotel, we will take you to the airport (depending on your flight)
