It's the perfect trip to get to know every part of Atacama's desert. Enjoy an amazing nomad trip riding the best landscapes and roads, only stoping to experience natural wonders and historic places. You'll also get to contact the locals and get to know more about their indigenous history.
Day 1: San Pedro de Atacama (2.500 mts)-Peine (2.400 mts)
9:00 am. We’ll hike along “Peine Viejo, Inca ruins, including part of the Inca Trail. Driving up The Andes, we’ll arrive to the Altiplanos and visit Tuyaito Lake and “Salar de Aguas Calientes”.
We stop for lunch at Flamingos National Reserve Miskanty & Miñiques area, and then continue towards Chaxa Lake, another area of Flamingo National Reserve. Driving north, we’ll stop at the Village of Toconao for a short visit, and then we’ll swim at Cejar Lagoon, 7 times saltier than the sea, where you float like a cork.
Finish the day with the sight of sunset at Tebinquinche salt flat. We’ll sleep at the indigenous community of Solor, largest oasis around San Pedro de Atacama.
Tranche Day 1: 220 km
Day 2: Peine (2.400 mts) – Solor (2.500mts)

Tranche Day 2: 350 km
Day 3: Solor (2.500mts)-San Pedro de Atacama (2.500mts)
8:00 am. We’ll start our day driving up The Andes trough Paso Jama. We’ll stop at Quipiaco wetlands, were we’ll visit rock formations known as Monjes de la Pacana.
Later, we’ll drive off-road to get to Salar de Tara, where we’ll have lunch. You’ll have the afternoon free in San Pedro and we’ll gather for dinner in a local gourmet restaurant.
Tranche Day 3: 215 km
Day 4: Solor (2.500 mts)-Caspana (3.300 mts)
9:00 am. Heading up west to Rio Grande Village, immerse in the heart of Domeyco Range, it’s a different look of the same Atacama Desert, and on the way we’ll stop to visit the rupestrian art of Yerbas Buenas and Valle del Arcoiris’s colored mountains.
We’ll drive to Chiu-Chiu and Lasana Canyon, were we’ll visit Pukara de Turi, and then head to Caspana, a pretty village where we’ll stay at indigenous community.
Tranche Day 4: 400 km
Day 5: Caspana (3.300 mts) - San Pedro de Atacama (2.500 mts)
6:30 am. Heading up to Geysers del Tatio (4.300 mts) we’ll cross the mountain pass “La Chita” and then drive for about one hour to get to the third geothermal field of the world, a fantastic place to spot wildlife and relax with a buffet breakfast at the hot springs.
On the way to San Pedro, we’ll stop at Machuca shepherds village to enjoy a delicious empanada and to try Llama meat. Lunch will be set at the magical canyon of Puritama Private Park, with 8 swimming pools at 33,5° C.
Tranche Day 5: 160 km
