Travel program to know the Salar de Uyuni in only 3 days. We will start in San Pedro de Atacama and cross the border between Chile and Bolivia. We will visit the town of San Pedro de Quemez and enjoy the best views of the Salar de Uyuni.
Day 1: San Pedro de Atacama - San Pedro de Quemes

We leave from the hotel at approximately 7:30 am to the Salar de Uyuni. The we cross the control of police and customs and start to go up to Paso al Cajón, located 60 kilometers from San Pedro de Atacama.
Once in Bolivia, we change to a 4x4 car and enter Eduardo Abaroa National Park where we are visiting the white lagoon, green lagoon, thermal baths and Sol de Mañana géysers.
Then we will arrive at the Lagoon Colorada, which is located at 4,100 meters above sea level and is highlighted by a large number of microorganisms that in the light of the sun by photosynthesis produces different shades of red. This place is part of the most important flamingo reserve in Bolivia.
We follow the road to San Pedro de Quemez, but first we pass through the town of Refugio, San Felipe, Pampas de Chiguana, Puesto Militar, Miradir de volcan Ollagüe, Lagunas Cañapa, Hedionda, Chiarcota, Honda and Ramaditas. All this is performed passing through the Famous "Pasito Tuntún", where you can’t advance to more than 4 kilometers per hour.
During the afternoon, we get to San Pedro de Quemez village, located in Salar de Uyuni, very close to the volcanoes.

Day 2: San Pedro de Quemes - Salar de Uyuni

8:00 am: Breakfast.
After breakfast, we are going to visit the old town of San Pedro de Quemez. We are going to pass Mala Mala Bay, visit the Galaxias Cave and the Diablo’s Cave and then we will go to Aguaquiza to see the largest salt lake in the world with approximately 12 thousand square kilometers.
On the way, we visit the Chantani museum, the Coquesa mummies and then enter the Salar de Uyuni, which is the highest salt surface in the world. The salar covers an area of 10 thousand square kilometers. It offers incredible landscapes that are in a natural state.
Then head towards the center of the salt lake to visit Inkahuasi and we will make a walk to the top of the island where we find a great amount of millenary giant cacti that grow one centimeter per year and we can also see some petrified corals.
12:00 to 13:30 hours: lunch on Inkahuasi Island.
Later we leave from Inkahuasi island to the Hotel de Sal or Cristal Samañana to enjoy the sunset.
20:00: Dinner at Hotel de Piedra.
Day 3: Uyuni - Regreso a San Pedro de Atacama

9:00 am: Visit to Colchani and the artisanal salt-processing plant.
On the route we visit Ojos de Agua, the salt mines. We get to the town of Uyuni and al and have lunch in the San Cristóbal mining.
Then we will visit Villa Alota, the Solili desert, the lagoon colorada, hot springs, the Dalí desert, green lagoon and white lagoon.
15:00 hours: Leave the car 4x4 and continue on to San Pedro de Atacama.
17:30 hours: Arrival to San Pedro de Atacama
