Today we will travel from Balmaceda Airport to the city of Coyhaique. On the way, we see the old town of El Blanco, with valleys of livestock production and impressive leap River Pollux, witnessing a small sample of the stunning scenery that forms part of these area, as we will cross the Andes through the Chilean Patagonia.

Dinner. Reception and lodging at Hotel Raices or Hotel Diego de Almagro.

Breakfast. We leave on full day excursion to La Junta on the Carretera Austral Norte. During the tour will visit the Queulat National Park and visit its famous Hanging Glacier.

By mid-afternoon, we will arrive at Puyuhuapi Fjord, an arm of the Pacific Ocean that goes into the Patagonian Andes, and continue our journey towards the town of Puerto Puyuhuapi, a beautiful little port village with colorful wooden houses and gardens, faithful witness of the history of German colonization.

At sunset we will reach the town of La Junta, whose name comes from the confluence of the rivers Palena and Rosselot.

Dinner. Accommodation in Espacio y Tiempo Hotel de Montaña.

Breakfast. Today we continue our journey along the North Carretera Austral, passing the impressive Hanging bridges of Rosselet and Palena rivers. Later on, we will find Lake Yelcho, which is a beautiful glacial lake with emerald green waters.

As we approach the Golfo Corcovado, we will reach the town of Chaitén and its destroyed streets after the eruption of the volcano of the same name, which continues in light activity to the day .

Dinner. Accommodation in Hotel Mi Casa or Hotel Schilling

Breakfast. We will begin our journey northwards, until the entry of Pumalin Park (289,562 hectares), declared a Nature Sanctuary. 66% of its surface corresponds to native forest, such as Larch (the oldest living specimen is over 3600 years, the second kind of world's oldest trees).

Next off, we will head east, winding the Futaleufu River, renowned internationally for its Kayaking and Rafting high-level competitions. After noon, we will arrive at the town of Futaleufu.

Dinner. Accommodation in El Barranco Lodge or Hosteria Rio Grande.

Breakfast. This day, we will have a free morning to take the following optional excursion:

Rafting trip (NOT included - Subject to weather conditions): Section Bridge to Bridge - Class III, IV, & IV + (8 km): This is one of the most popular and entertaining sections of Futaleufu River, with its large volume of water making its rapids an unforgettable adventure. For this section of the river it is not necessary to have previous experience. This section is called "Bridge to Bridge" because its rapids are between 2 bridges (gateway Zapata and Puente Futaleufu). It includes class III, IV and IV +, like "Puente Colgante", "Alfombra Mágica" y "Mundaca" and many more. The duration is approximately 4 hours.

In the afternoon, we will make our return to La Junta.

Dinner. Accommodation in Espacio y Tiempo Hotel de Montaña.

Breakfast. Today we will return to Coyhaique. On the way, we will stop at the Puyuhuapi Glacier's Baths, located on the shore of the fjord, to enjoy its spectacular hot springs.

Dinner. Accommodation at Hotel Raíces or Hotel Diego de Almagro.

Breakfast. Regular transfer to the airport in Balmaceda.
