      Enjoy one of the most beautiful and challenging treks in Chile. Walk in lush forests, see glaciers and stop in one of the most spectacular look-out points in Torres del Paines National Park.

      Day 1: Torres del Paine National Park- Trek Base de las Torres

      After breakfast in the hotel in Puerto Natales, our guide will greet us to take a semi-private van that will bring us to Torres del Paine National Park. 

      We will travel through the vast Patagonian plains before arriving at Laguna Amarga where our guide will register our group in CONAF. We will continue until arriving at the Welcome Center and Refuge Torre Central from where we will begin our hike towards the base of the towers. 

      We will begin our trek in the Ascensio Valley, meandering through windy hills and extensive forests of beech trees. During the final ascent we will pass through a huge rock field until arriving at one of the most emblematic look-out spots in the world, the base of the towers. At an altitude of 900 meters, we will gaze in wonder at the steep granite walls of the towers (north, central and south) alongside the vibrant turquoise glacial lake.

      We will have free time at the base of the towers  to take photos and have lunch before we return on the same route to the Refuge Torre Central where we will have dinner and a well-deserved rest.

      Day 2: Trek a Refugio Dickson - Laguna Azul

      After breakfast with the group, we will take a vehicle a short ride to Laguna Azul where we will begin our trek to Refuge Dickson. We will walk on one of the least transited trails of Torres del Paine National Park, through hills and marshlands with snow-covered mountains, pastel blue lakes against a grassland backdrop. 

      We will explore the northern side of Torres del Paine National Park where we will appreciate the impressive views from the Laguna Cebolla, Dickson Glacier, and Cerro Cubo among other mighty snowy mountains that mark the division between Chilean and Argentinian Patagonia.

      Food: Breakfast- Lunch or box lunch-Dinner

       

      Day 3: Trek a Camping Los Perros.

      We will leave the refuge Dickson early in the morning to begin the trek to Camping Los Perros. On a relaxed route we will walk through exuberant green vegetation that will bring us to the deepest part of Torres del Paine National Park. During the trek we will enjoy the fresh smell, organic and earthy that you will notice when we enter the old beech forest. Feel the wind whistle through the trees and hear the sounds of the Magellean carpenter birds. 

      We will continue on a trail bordering the Los Perros River until we hike up a giant hill where we will see spectacular mountainous landscapes that will take your breath away. Be amazed by the incredible views of the Los Perros Glacier and the lagoon. 

      We will continue the hike on a rocky trail until we arrive at Camping Los Perros, where we will spend the night. 

      Relax! Tomorrow is a long day!

      Day 4: Trek a Refugio Grey - Paso de John Gardner

      Prepare yourself for the most challenging but most gratifying day on the circuit the O of Torres del Paine

      After an early breakfast in the refuge we will begin our route through roots of twisted trees and muddy puddles beneath a canopy of dark green beech trees. We will leave the forest and begin to climb boulders and rocky fields (sometimes snow-covered) until we arrive at the highest point of the O circuit in Torres del Paine, the famous John Gardner pass (1,200 meters). You will be embraced by the wild winds of Patagonia while feeling inspired by the massive Ice Field of Southern Patagonia an expanse of dazzling white and blue. 

      Continuing our descent, next to a giant wall of ice, we will pass by Camping El Paso and the impressive hanging bridges of Torres del Paine. 

      Finally we will end our hike at Refuge Grey to enjoy a restorative dinner and have time to relax.

      Food: Breakfast-Lunch or box lunch-Dinner

       

      Day 5: Trek a Refugio Paine Grande.

      After a delicious breakfast in Refuge Grey we will enjoy the most incredible views of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field and the iceberg of Grey Lake. We will walk through a mountainous forest until reaching-sometimes very windy-the look-out of Grey Glacier. 

      We will continue on the trail until arriving at Laguna de los Patos, where we will begin our descent by way of a narrow and windy valley that will bring us directly to the refuge Paine Grande where we will spend the night.  

      Distance: 11 km

      Time: 4-4.5 hours

      Level of difficulty: Easy-moderate

      Accommodation: Refuge or Camping Paine Grande 

      Food: Breakfast-Lunch or Box Lunch-Dinner 

       

      Day 6: Trek a Valle Francés - Regreso a Puerto Natales.

      After breakfast we will leave the refuge Paine Grande to begin the trek to Valley Francés, this out-and- back trip will bring us to the heart of Torres del Paine National Park. 

      We will begin the hike on dry terrain that borders the enchanting blue waters of Skottsberg Lake. After about 2.5 hours of hiking we will arrive at the CONAF Guard Station Italiano, or Camping Italiano, where we will begin our route towards Valley Francés. 

      We will begin to climb up a big rock field and continue along a tree-lined ridge until arriving at the Francés look-out point. Here we will be rewarded with amazing views of Los Cuernos, turquoise lagoons with stunning hanging blue glaciers that fall on the face of Paine Grande (3,050 mts). If we are lucky, we will hear the thunderous sound of water and ice falling, this area being known as a common place to witness avalanches. 

      We will have time to rest and enjoy a box lunch. 

      We will return on the same route to the CONAF Guard Station Italiano and then to Refuge Paine Grande where we will board a catamaran. After a relaxing sail for 35 minutes we will arrive at the opposite shore where we will take semi-private transportation that will bring us back to Puerto Natales. 

      To end this incredible experience we will enjoy a delicious goodbye dinner with the group and guide.

      Recommendations

      RESTRICTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS:

      • This program is not recommended for children under 10 years.
      • Passengers must be able to carry their personal belongings for the duration of the program We recommend the use of 40 liter backpacks.
      • We offer custody in Puerto Natales for those who wish to leave their luggage.
