Day 1: Puerto Natales - Milodón Cave by bicycle

Depending on your flight, we will coordinate your arrival with one of the regular bus schedules that make the trip from the Punta Arenas airport to Puerto Natales. You must arrive in the morning to reach to settle in Hostal Factoría and be able to participate in the afternoon tour.

We will meet at the hostel to explain the activities and itinerary. In the afternoon we will pick you up to head towards the Cueva del Milodón Natural Monument. From there we equip ourselves to make the circuit of 8 km of path where we will discover the 3 recognized caves surrounded by the landscape of Torres del Paine National Park in the middle of winter.

We will return to the hostel to regain strength for the next day.

Day 2: Base Torres Trekking

After a delicious breakfast in the hostel, we will leave at 07:00 a.m. to begin our journey to Torres del Paine National Park. The walk will start from Estancia Cerro Paine, in the Las Torres sector.

We take the road in the direction of the Ascencio Valley by a zigzag of marked slope of an hour and then continue 45 more min to reach the Chilean refuge on the opposite bank of the Ascencio River, in the shade of a forest of lengas, with moderate slope , crossing several slopes that fall from the Admiral Nieto. After an hour and 10 minutes from the Chilean campsite, at 700 meters above sea level, you reach the foot of the moraine that gives access to the viewpoint. From this point, the trail increases its slope and about 30 min later we reach the eastern end of the lagoon, from where you have a wonderful view of the three towers (Central, Monzino, Dagostini) and Peineta and Nido de Cóndores hills .

We will take advantage of this viewpoint to enjoy our box lunch, rest and take photographs we will take the same path to return to our starting point. We will be back in Puerto Natales in the afternoon to leave you again at the hostel.

Day 3: Countryside day with lunch and horseback riding

We will pick you up at the hostel to move 35 kilometers from Puerto Natales. We will cross the Señoret canal by boat until we reach the Antonio Varas peninsula where Estancia Mercedes is located, one of the pioneer families of Ultima Esperanza, built in 1908 and part of the heritage that today records the traces of the pioneers when they populated the area.

After breakfast we will start our horseback riding through the area visiting different attractions of the hacienda such as native forests, waterfalls and peat bogs. We will enjoy a Patagonian lunch at the Hacienda and the tranquility and scenic beauty of the place.

In the afternoon we will return to Puerto Natales.

Day 4: Puerto Natales - Punta Arenas

  • 2 Punta Arenas

After breakfast at the factory hostel we will take you to the Rodoviario in time to take your bus to Punta Arenas. The schedules will depend on your flight itinerary.
