The National Holidays in Viña del Mar are a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in Chilean culture, tradition, and celebration.

National Holidays are approaching, and Viña del Mar is gearing up to celebrate this significant national event with enthusiasm and joy. The Garden City has arranged a series of activities and events that promise to enrich the spirit of Chilean patriotism and tradition within the community, all against the backdrop of the natural, cultural, and tourist offerings that this splendid corner in the Valparaíso Region provides.

The curtains will rise on September 15th at Espacio Sporting, the epicenter of National Holidays in Viña del Mar, where we will witness the inauguration of the Official Ramada of the Criolla Party with the winners of the cueca contests scheduled for August in the city. Music, dance, and the country's tradition will blend in a unique celebration to commemorate Chile's independence.

From September 15th to 19th, Espacio Sporting in Viña del Mar will be illuminated with the festive essence of National Holidays. During this thrilling period, both locals and visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a diverse array of artists and performances that will capture the essence of Chilean tradition. The event's identity will be amplified with the participation of artists to be announced soon. Food stalls and entertainment zones will contribute to an all-encompassing and memorable experience.

Viña del Mar's "fondas" offer a wide range of activities for all ages, including cueca contests, live music, and typical Chilean games like "rayuela" and "trompo" (spinning top). Each "fonda" creates a festive and welcoming atmosphere, inviting residents and travelers to indulge in "empanadas," "anticuchos," the classic "terremoto" drink, and much more. A total of 33 "ramadas" (traditional festive structures), 45 entertainment stands, 15 diverse stands, and mechanical games will animate this unique spectacle, reinforcing the connection between history and fun during the 2023 National Holidays.
