Day 1: Tuesday: Puerto Montt – Chiloé

What you will visit:

11:30 hrs: We will depart from the Skorpios Terminal in Puerto Montt and sail on the cruise through the Llanquihue archipelago.

From the boat we will be able to admire the city of Calbuco, and then pass by the Gulf of Ancud, in the Chiloé archipelago. We will have a landfall in Mechuque, a Chiloe island, where we will disembark in boats to visit the streets, craft center and cafes. We will continue heading south and at midnight we will cross the Corcovado Gulf and start navigating the fjords of Chilean Patagonia.

Day 2: Wednesday: Moraleda and Ferronave Channels – Puerto Aguirre

What you will visit:

  • 1 Puerto Aguirre

We will sail through the Moraleda and Ferronave canals until we reach the fishing village of Puerto Aguirre, located in the Chonos archipelago, where we will disembark. We can walk for an hour and a half to know the trail of a rainforest typical of the region as well as the viewpoints and streets of the town. Later we will return to Skorpios, to continue navigating the Pilcomayo and Costa channels.

We will arrive at the Barrientos Islet where we will disembark again to get closer, in smaller boats, to the rocky islands where birds and sea lions inhabit. We will return to the ship for dinner. At night we will find ourselves sailing through Caleta Hualas or Punta Leopardo, 20 miles from San Rafael Glacier, an incredible landscape of Chilean Patagonia.

Day 3: Thursday: Laguna San Rafael National Park

Early in the morning we will sail through the San Rafael lagoon to later disembark in boats and make an excursion among the multicolored icebergs (weather permitting).

In the afternoon we will approach the San Rafael glacier and then we will return to the ship and sail towards the Quitralco fjord.

Day 4: Friday: Quitralco Fjord

In the morning we will arrive at the pier of the Quitralco fjord. In it we will enjoy its thermal pools with waters between 30 and 32 ° C. If the weather permits, we will board boats to enter the fjord.

During the afternoon we will sail to Chiloé, navigating the Moraleda and Pérez Norte canals.

Day 5: Saturday: Los Chonos Archipelago

We will start the day sailing through the Leucayec channel in the Los Chonos archipelago, from where we will see the town of Melinka. Later we will cross the Corcovado Gulf where, if the weather conditions allow it, we will be able to see Blue or Alfaguaras whales.

We will continue sailing along the coast of Chiloé until we arrive at Islote Conejos, located on the Queilen Canal. There we will disembark to make motor boat rides surrounding this small island where Magellanic penguins and numerous birds of the area live.

We will continue navigating between the Lemuy and Shilling islands and during the afternoon we will arrive at Dalcahue, where we will have free time until 11pm, when we will embark to return to Puerto Montt, while we enjoy a farewell party.

Day 6: Sunday:Port Montt

08:00 hrs: Docked at Skorpios Terminal pier in Puerto Montt and breakfast.
09:00 hrs: Disembarkation and passenger transfer.

M / N Skorpios II The Skorpios II was built in the shipyards of the company in 1988 with an investment of USD 10,000,000. Its main dining room can seat up to 160 passengers in a single turn . It also has two bars, San Rafael and Quitralco ( smoking / non -smoking) , for 60 passengers each. The onboard cuisine is international and is mainly based on seafood, with a fixed menu and open bar service .

  • Cabins of the Skorpios II:
    • It has 55 cabins with a capacity of 110 passengers, base on double rooms, which can be increased to 130 seats based on triple and quadruple cabins. It also has double cabins and suites finely decorated . All cabins have private bathrooms , intercom , music and closed TV circuit.
