Come to San Pedro de Atacama and contemplate the lonely landscape of the driest desert in the world. In only four days you will be able to see all the highlights that the north of Chile has to offer!

Day 1: Calama - San Pedro de Atacama

We will pick you up at the airport in Calama to take you to the hotel in San Pedro de Atacama. You will have the day off to explore the town or to rest from the trip.

At night , we will have an interesting astronomical tour.

Day 2: Valle de la Luna - Valle de la Muerte

After breakfast, you will have the morning off to wonder around San Pedro de Atacama. 

In the afternoon, (15:00 hrs aprox) we will head towards the Valle de la Luna, located 19 km from San Pedro, in the Cordillera de la Sal, declared a nature sanctuary and Natural Monument protected by the uniqueness of its scenic beauty.

You will also appreciate the Valle de los Dinosaurios and Valle de la Muerte, where you will have a spectacular view of the environment. Continue en route to the Moon Valley , where you will find geological formations.

In the evening ,you will be dazzled by the appearance of a bold palette of golds and reds that take over every mountain sorrounding us. 

Day 3: Salar de Atacama - Lagunas Altiplánicas

After breakfast, we will head towards the largest salt flat in Chile, which has one of the most important flamenco reserves of the country, the National Reserve Flamingos.

We will enter a small trail to Laguna Chaxa to recognize different species of flamingos in the area. Miscanti and Miñiques, located at 4,220 meters, are also part of the National Reserve and are managed by the indigenous community of Socaire. The eruption of Miñiques volcano 1 million years ago caused the damming of water that used to flow to the Salar, giving rise to these two highland lakes of blue water and white shores. 

On our way back we will have lunch in Socaire or Toconao, little towns known for their atacameñan gastronomy.

Day 4: Geysers del Tatio

During the morning we will head from the hotel in San Pedro de Atacama at 04:30 hrs approx. towards the Geysers del Tatio, a geothermal center with geysers that can only be seen very early in the morning. After seeing this beautiful spectacle, in a majestic natural environment, we will have breakfast .
