What you will visit:

We will meet at Cousiño Macul Vineyard, (Quilín 7100 street, Peñalolén). There a guide of green shirt will be waiting for you with your bicycle, a bottle of water and a glass of wine, for you to carry it in the basket of the bicycle.
Causiño Macul Vineyard
The first 60 minutes: we will cycle through vineyards that are more than 80 years old and we will stop to tell you how Cousiño Macul was born, the history of its grapes and how special this family-owned vineyard is. There we make the first wine tasting.
Then we will visit the winery that was built in 1874 by French architects. They were hired by Don Luis Cousiño and Dona Isidora Goyenechea to design and build this historic building. Out of respect for the Cousiño family we will not go through its centennial residence since it is still inhabited by the sixth generation of the family. We will only pedal for its gardens and vineyards, so we don’t disturb the privacy of their home.
4 Wine tastings
You will walk through the cellar and you will know the towers of wooden barrels that are more than 100 years old. Your guide will accompany you through this historic building while teaching you the winemaking process. Later you will know the equipments used to make the wine in the 1920s.
We will finish the tour with 4 wine tastings.
